Martin Quinn

Martin Quinn, Member, GLEAMED LLP

Martin Quinn is a solicitor and partner in a firm of solicitors in the East End of London. His main interest throughout his career has been land and property although his practice deals also with employment and civil litigation. In recent years Martin has concentrated more on commercial property matters especially leases.

Martin joined the conveyancing department of a City firm of solicitors from school and subsequently spent seven years in the legal department of a major property company to broaden his perspective of property matters beyond the traditional legal standpoint. After his return to private practice Martin became one of the first Licensed Conveyancers prior to qualifying as a solicitor in 1989.

During some sixteen years of practicing in the East End of London, Martin became increasingly involved with other local organizations, including charities providing community services such as the Cedar Centre in Docklands where he gave pro-bono advice to visitors for some ten years. It was his experience of this work that generated Martin’s interest in the possibilities offered by mediation to deal with the problems he was encountering. Martin’s wide knowledge of community matters and demonstrable commitment to equality and cultural diversity drew him to the attention the Greater London and East Anglia Mediation. Martin is a seasoned professional who can draw on a wealth of experience in property, community and Local Authority affairs, as well as his wider legal background and practice, to help resolve disputes.

Martin is aged 63, married with two adult children. He lives in Bexleyheath, Kent.
