Lauren Sadler, Family Mediator
Lauren is a Resolution-trained Family Mediator who has forged her career as a Family Lawyer for the past 10 years and now draws on her broad experience of family matters to offer her services as a qualified Family mediator as well. Lauren has extensive experience of handling divorce, separation and ancillary relief matters as well as dealing with the arrangements for children, including Public Law and child abduction cases.
Lauren adopts a non-confrontational approach in her practice and in 2007 became a Member of Resolution, an association of family lawyers who adhere to a strict Code of Practice to ensure the non-confrontational handling of family matters in a way that offers opportunities for agreement between the parties at all stages of the process. In parallel, following assessment, Lauren was appointed to the Law Society family Law Panel in 2009. She is currently seeking appointment as a Specialist Accredited Member of Resolution and to become an Advanced Member of the Law Society Family Law Panel.
Lauren completed her LL.B Hons in 1998 and her Legal Practice Course, where her interest in family law began, in 1999. Her Training Contract provided her with background in family law, criminal law, wills and probate, civil litigation and conveyancing. In 2010 Lauren was appointed as a Partner in GoodyBurrett LLP, Solicitors, with offices in Colchester and Dunmow.
As the mother of three children, Lauren has personal and practical experience of family matters to draw on in her legal and mediation practice. Her wider interests include house renovation, gardening and horse riding.
