Dr Bhupinder Kohli
Bhupinder is an Associate of Eternal Alliances. He is also a CEDR Accredited Mediator who is committed to developing mediation and conflict resolution in the National Health Service and within Families.
Bhupinder is also a GP Partner, A PCT Medical Director and a Management Consultant.
Bhupinder is an innovator and within 3 year period took 4 single handed, poorly performing practices in a deprived area of Newham and transformed them into a well-established training practice, providing a wide range of excellent quality primary care services to over 10,000 patients from a purpose built LIFT building.
He has been a GP Trainer since 1995 and has trained over 12 GPs. He was co-founder of the Newham Inner city Multifund which was the largest and one of the most successful Multifunds in London. He was also Chair of the Newham Primary Care Group when it won the PCG of the year award from the HSJ. He was also the Clinical Services Lead for Newham PCT for 3 years.
He is Chairman of Patient First, a GP provider company owned by 35 local practices with 200,000 patients. He believes that working in partnership across practices is one of the most effective and efficient ways to support both clinical and non clinical GP staff, improve the quality of patient services, and create positive patient experiences within practices. He has been pivotally involved in several major projects to practically support and motivate clinicians, both in groups and individually on a variety of projects ranging from peer review on referral rates, to improved and appropriate prescribing, to improving patient access. Bhupinder has recently been appointed a Medical Director of Newham PCT. He is fluent in Hindi, Urdu & Punjabi.
